A BBC antiques dealer accused of stalking his neighbours 'wishes he never got into TV' in a 'final' social media post.

Adrian Higham, who appears on the Bidding Room presented by Nigel Havers, has been made the subject of an interim stalking protection order by Brighton Magistrates' Court.

It bans the 57-year-old from 'communications, approaches, references or surveillance' involving his former neighbours, the court heard.

Taking to social media yesterday evening after the hearing the presenter said: 'Thank you for years of support. But I'm stepping away from Social Media. Totally!!!! And Television.

'It was a dream of mine to work on TV and I did it. But wish I hadn't. My life with Tara is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And the only thing important.
