The army's needs: What the 'Good Soldier Succot' needs to learn about IDF service | Opinion

This week, MK Tzvi Succot (Religious Zionism) sent his second letter to IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir asking to be drafted into the army during the Knesset's summer recess, which begins on July 27. For those who don't know, Succot has never done military service. In an interview with the Knesset Channel, he said this was because of Israel's unilateral pullout from the Gaza Strip in 2005.
