YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused the NDA government in the State of adopting repressive tactics against the protesting farmers, while failing to provide minimum support prices (MSP) for key crops.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who visited Bangarupalem on Wednesday to express his solidarity with the mango farmers, alleged that the government used the police force to “detain, beat, and harass” the farmers and YSRCP supporters. Taking to X on Thursday, he charged the ruling coalition with using friendly media to distort facts.
