Gaza's Health Ministry said Thursday that 82 people were killed and 247 wounded in Israeli strikes over the past 24 hours, including nine who died while waiting for aid. The reported death toll since the start of the war now stands at 57,762.

The Gaza media office said on Thursday that 773 people have been killed in attacks near Gaza Humanitarian Fund distribution centers since they began operating with U.S. and Israeli backing in late May.

According to the statement, 5,101 people were wounded and 41 are missing in incidents linked to the distribution centers.

One Israeli man in his 20s died of wounds he sustained after two assailants opened fire at a West Bank shopping mall on Thursday and attempted to stab passersby, medics said.

According to rescue service chief Eli Bin, the victim sustained wounds to his upper body. It is currently unclear who fired the fatal shot.
