A private school principal was stabbed to death by two teenage students on the school premises in Haryana’s Hisar district on Thursday. The police said efforts were underway to apprehend the juveniles in conflict with the law.
The students, both around 15 years of age, were allegedly angered by repeated reprimands by the principal, Jagbir Singh, for indiscipline, said Hansi Superintendent of Police Amit Yashvardhan. “Preliminary investigation suggested that the school principal had served them notices for indiscipline and often asked them to tuck in their shirts and get their hair trimmed. If there was any personal rivalry between them, it will be revealed during the investigation,” Mr. Yashvardhan said.
