After her son Iair was released from Hamas captivity in February, Ruth Strom was sure his brother Eitan, who was kidnapped with him, would return in a matter of days. Since then, she has lived through the Iran war and fears the hostages have been forgotten

In February, a week after returning to Israel in a hostage deal, Iair Horn was released from the hospital. His mother, Ruth Strom, told the medical staff at the time that she would return in a week to accompany her second son, Eitan, through the recovery process.
