In the aftermath of the American attack on Iran's nuclear sites last week, Israeli officials went out of their way to express their gratitude to the United States and specifically to President Donald Trump for joining Israel's war against the Islamic Republic. The gratefulness is well-deserved, in light of Trump's historical decision to drop bunker-busting bombs on the underground facility in Fordow – something Israel lacked the capability to do on its own.
