Critics called out President Donald Trump after he posted a music video celebrating this weekend’s attack on Iran just hours after he bragged about being nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for arranging a ceasefire in the Middle East.
The video shows B-2 stealth bombers dropping bombs to the tune of “Bomb Iran,” a 1980 parody of the 1960s hit “Barbara Ann.”
The U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities came after days of hostilities between Israel and Iran. Trump said he arranged a ceasefire, then raged as the two reportedly violated it soon after.
The president complained that Israel and Iran “don’t know what the fuck they’re doing,” although the attacks appear to have stopped.
With the situation still volatile amid a tenuous ceasefire, Trump posted the video ― and his critics fired back on X:
