Supposedly José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce have agreed personal terms with the former Borussia Dortmund winger, who is available for around £17m. His fellow unwanted United forward Marcus Rashford has been offered some hope of moving to Barcelona on loan.

Any money earned by Jason Wilcox could be splashed on Wilfred Ndidi, who would cost £9m from Leicester thanks to a release clause. Everton are also keen.

Last summer Nottingham Forest were unwilling to sell Anthony Elanga to Newcastle but the north-east club are back in for the Sweden international. They have opened the bidding at £45m but Forest would want in the region of £60m if they are to allow the former Manchester United man to leave the City Ground.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is closing in on a £5m move from west to north London to join Arsenal from Chelsea. The Spaniard, who enjoyed a fine campaign on loan at Bournemouth, will be backup to David Raya.
