A poll taken in the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump's decision to unleash 'bunker buster' bombs on Iran's nuclear facilities reveals how Americans feel about the attack.
The CNN / SSRS poll shows a substantial 56 percent majority disapproves of the attack.
Just 44 percent approve of the move, according to the poll taken in the two days after Trump's surprise decision to order the U.S. military to get involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran.
The totals have 20 percent strongly approving and 24 percent 'somewhat' approving of the US decision to take military action. Among those against it, 24 percent somewhat disapprove and 32 percent strongly disapprove.
An overwhelming 58 percent majority think the military action will make Iran more of a threat to the US, compared to 27 percent who said less and 15 percent who said neither.
