This is the moment a man accused of murdering a mother-of-six on her morning dog walk is collared by cops in a public library.

Officers detained Roy Barclay, 56, in Ipswich Library, nearly three months after Anita Rose died after being attacked in Brantham, Suffolk.

Barclay has denied murdering Ms Rose, 57, who died in hospital in July four days after her badly beaten body was found on a footpath.

The police footage released by the Crown Prosecution Service shows the moment officers arrested Barclay between the bookshelves on October 21.

In the video, an officer can be seen approaching the defendant, who is currently on trial at Ipswich Crown Court, and reading him his rights.
