Israel's far-right Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu said in an interview Monday on i24 that Israel is "working with the opposition in Iran," calling it a blessing.
He said, "We began this campaign in coordination with the U.S. – but we set a new global moral standard: if someone threatens your life, you must act without hesitation to neutralize the threat. This is both moral and just. That's why we are now also working with the opposition in Iran – which is a blessing."
He continued: "Most of the civilians in Iran are innocent; we are targeting those who threaten and harm them, unlike the population in Gaza, which supports Hamas and has yet to reject them. For this reason, the moral and right course of action is to build something new."
