Gwalior's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dharmveer Singh said, "Bhadoria is a notorious criminal, with around 25 serious cases registered against him at various police stations." According to the police, the accused had allegedly murdered a man in the Hajira police station area recently and had evaded arrest by opening fire at police personnel.
The Hajira police station in-charge received a tip-off about Bhadoria's whereabouts in the forests under the Uttila police station limits, following which the area was cordoned off.
