Israel's health system is in a race against time. The objective: Making sure hospital staff and patients are protected, while simultaneously discharging as many patients as possible to reduce hospital occupancy. Both are to ensure the safety of the patients and to preserve the stockpiles of reserves of emergency medicine in case, for example, of a mass casualty event.
