White House says attack hits three sites, with ‘full payload of bombs’ dropped on Fordow.
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the US military carried out an aerial attack on three Iranian nuclear sites, following days of appeals by Israel for the American military to join its attacks on the Islamic republic.
Trump, who will hold a press briefing at 10pm local time, called the operation “very successful” and demanded that Tehran much “AGREE TO END THIS WAR”.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” the US leader announced.
“All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
