Two to four B-2 bomber aircraft, which are capable of carrying bombs that Israel estimates could destroy Iran's fortified nuclear facility at Fordow, took off from the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri Saturday morning, according to visible flight data and communication recordings from U.S. air traffic control.
The aircraft, which are accompanied by four refueling aircraft, are heading westward, according to the data, toward the Naval Base Guam in the Pacific Ocean.
