The wreck of the Bayesian, a luxury yacht that sank in extreme weather in Sicily in August 2024 causing the death of seven people including British tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, was brought back to the surface Friday ahead of a full recovery Saturday, salvage operators said.
The Bayesian has been refloated by Hebo cranes to allow the harnesses to be secured.
The hull has resurfaced and is at the surface of the water between the two cranes.
The Port Authority has confirmed that the total recovery operations of the vessel will take place tomorrow morning starting at dawn.
