An alleged hitman wanted in Spain for gunning down two Scottish gangsters at an Irish pub in the Costa Del Sol appeared in court today.
Michael Riley, 44, is charged with the murders of Lyons gang members Ross Monaghan, 43, and Eddie Lyons Jnr, 46, at Monaghans Bar in Feungirola on May 31.
He was arrested by Merseyside Police last Friday under an international arrest warrant issued by the Spanish authorities last week.
The victims were connected to the Lyons family, a major organised crime group based in the west of Scotland.
Riley was remanded in custody by magistrates last Saturday after he was deemed a flight risk.
