No casualties in Iran missile barrages on Wednesday, as Israeli military continued sixth day of extensive strikes on the Islamic Republic
There were no casualties in the two barrages of missiles launched from Iran overnight into Wednesday, or the single missile fired Wednesday evening, as the Israeli military continued its sixth day of extensive strikes on the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump played coy on Wednesday when asked if he decided on potential U.S. intervention in the Israel-Iran war, teasing ""I may do it, I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I'm going to do," he said on the White House lawn.
Trump said that the Iranians had "reached out" to negotiate. "Why didn't you negotiate with me two weeks ago? You could have done fine," Trump said, adding "you would have had a country." Trump further suggested that Iran was begging for a diplomatic off-ramp, going so far as to request an emergency White House meeting — a claim Iran vociferously denied on social media.
Speaking in a television press conference, he said Iran was "totally defenseless."
