The Thiruvananthapuram Rural police are set to revive the investigation into the drowning death of a two-year-old girl in a well in Balaramapuram, nearly five months after the incident.

While the child’s uncle had initially been arrested in connection with the case, the investigation team now suspects the involvement of the mother, following a “revelation” by the accused.
