A manhunt has been launched after a pensioner was murdered in her home - which police believe could have been over a diamond Rolex missing from the property.

Jennifer Abbot, 69, was found stabbed to death by officers who were called to her Camden home in London at 6pm on Friday.

The Met police are now urging any witnesses to come forward with information that could help identify the attacker and the events leading up to her death.

They believe a possible motive for the murder is linked to a Rolex watch with a distinctive diamond encrusted face, which they think is missing from Ms Abbot's address.

Known professionally as Sarah Steinberg, she previously worked in the creative industries and was a popular member of the community, often seen walking her Corgi dog near her home.
