The Kongu Mandala Vivasaya Nilangal Paathukaapu Kootamaipu (Farm land protection coalition of Kongu zone) has urged the government to strengthen the existing road infrastructure in the region instead of taking up new projects.
The coalition said in a press release on Tuesday that seven farmers’ associations have come together to protect agricultural lands in the region.
