President Donald Trump on Monday (June 16, 2025) said he finalized a trade agreement with the United Kingdom, first announced in May, that is expected to slash tariffs on goods from both countries, as Mr. Trump continues to wage a trade war with America’s longstanding allies.
Mr. Trump said the deal was “fair” for both nations and will “produce a lot of jobs, a lot of income.”
