Airline executives slammed the high, complicated and often unpredictable taxes on jet fuel and aviation services in India at last week’s International Air Transport Association (IATA) annual general meeting (AGM) held in New Delhi. It’s the first time India has hosted IATA’s AGM in over four decades and comes shortly after India's tax authority surprised foreign carriers with huge tax bills last August.
