GuliKit says it’s figured out how to make its controllers wake the Switch 2.

The only gamepad that can wake the new console is Nintendo’s own upgraded Pro controller — even the original Switch’s Pro controller can’t. But that could soon change as GuliKit, which previously noted that the Switch 2 “uses a new system protocol,” now says it’s figured out how to get its third-party controllers to wake the handheld. It demonstrated the functionality in a video shared to X, but hasn’t announced a follow-up software update adding this feature.
