The La Liga and Copa del Rey winners announce plans to return to region for first time since 2019

Barcelona will return to Asia for the first time in six years this summer, with pre-season matches lined up in Japan and South Korea, the club confirmed on Monday.

The Spanish double winners will face Japanese side Vissel Kobe in a friendly match on July 27 at the Noevir Kobe Stadium, which holds 30,000 people.

Next, boss Hansi Flick and his players will travel to South Korea to face FC Seoul on July 31 at the Seoul World Cup stadium, which can hold up to almost 67,000 fans.

They will finish the tour on August 4 with a match against Daegu FC at the 68,000-capacity Daegu Stadium.
