MOSCOW, June 16. /TASS/. Air defenses shot down 11 Ukrainian drones over Russia’s Oryol Region and another one over the Voronezh Region last night, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"On-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 12 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles between 11:55 p.m. on June 15 and 2:45 a.m. Moscow time on June 16 (8:55 p.m. - 11:45 p.m. GMT on June 15). Eleven drones were downed over the Oryol Region and one over the Voronezh Region," the statement reads.
Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz wrote on Telegram that there were no casualties or damage on the ground.
