Carmela Chillery-Watson, an 11-year-old girl from Dorset, has become the youngest person ever to be made an MBE.

Carmela, who has LMNA congenital muscular dystrophy and is becoming a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the King’s Birthday Honours for services to charitable fundraising, said she "never thought anything like this would happen".
