The court has finally adjourned.
The government will not be calling Sean Combs’s longtime chief of staff Kristina Khorram, whom the government appeared to portray as a co-conspirator. Instead, next week prosecutors will call several summary witnesses who will present a number of records before the jury. They will also call Brendan Paul, a former personal assistant to Combs.
The government said it is confident it will rest its case against Combs next week.
Two and a half hours after the jury was dismissed, court is still dragging on as the defense plows through its objections to a long list of exhibits the government wants to enter into evidence before next week.
