Ricki Lake is giving transparency a little lift.
While feeling good from her head to her shoes, the former talk show host appeared on a Thursday taping of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.” Mid-conversation, Cohen commented that Lake had gotten a bit of a “zhuzh up.” With a flattering hair toss and a gleam of self-assurance, Lake leaned in — both figuratively and literally — to share her journey of acceptance.
She revealed that she had “shaved her head six years ago” while battling androgenic hair loss. But what came next was a not-so-public enhancement to her already familiar face.
“I’ve had a lower face and neck lift,” she told the cheering audience, lifting the veil with candor.
Cohen, a pillar of support, responded, “It looks so good.”
