This is the moment a terrorist tried to stab a police officer to death and set fire to a police station - as he was jailed for life with a minimum term of 22 years.
Dramatic footage shows Alexander Dighton smashing a police car with a hatchet outside Talbot Green Police Station in Rhondda Cynon Taf on January 31.
The 28-year-old, who was armed with Molotov cocktails, can be heard shouting 'I'm fed up, I'm done' before surging towards an officer in the station foyer and hitting him in the head.
Despite having been Tasered and sprayed with Pava spray, the frenzied attacker went on to stab another officer in the leg.
After finally being restrained, Dighton went on to tell officers he had been 'damned from birth' and had decided 'that blood had to be spilt'.
