U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bangladesh interim government’s Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese were among the world leaders who condoled Thursday’s air tragedy in Ahmedabad that left at least 242 people dead and dozens injured.

Mr. Trump described the incident as “one of the worst in aviation history” and said, “That was a terrible crash. I have already told them, anything we can do, we will be there immediately. But it was a horrific crash.”
