Registration for 10th anniversary of event, which features marathon, half-marathon and 10km races, has opened, with 20,000-contestant limit

Ten thousand local and overseas runners will get their chance to be among the first to try out a new route when they compete in the Kerry Hong Kong Streetathon in November, organisers said on Thursday.

The 10th anniversary of the Streetathon, which features a marathon and a half-marathon, will be held on November 23, with participants starting at the Island Eastern Corridor near East Coast Park.

Contestants will run on the the yet-to-open Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei section), heading into Kowloon Bay and Kai Tak, before finishing at the Yau Ma Tei Interchange.
