The months leading up to a wedding come with many rites of passage for brides ― bridal showers, saying “yes” to the dress, and of course, the bachelorette party.
While bachelorette parties can take different forms, these festivities typically involve the bride celebrating this exciting new chapter of her life with her nearest and dearest. It might be one night out on the town or a full weekend getaway.

Meanwhile, seemingly everyone has horror stories of conflicts between attendees, budget miscommunications, overly demanding bridesmaids, failed compromises, logistical challenges and more. Amid the chaos, some brides have found a peaceful alternative to the bachelorette tradition.
