A murder probe has been launched after a four-year-old boy was found dead at his home, as police arrest a 37-year-old woman.
Police were called to the address in Maidenhead, Berks, at 6.30pm yesterday afternoon where the child was declared deceased.
The woman, who is from Maidenhead, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Officers for Thames Valley Police are continuing their investigations at Dunholme End and have informed the boy's next of kin.
They say there is no risk to the wider community but say the scene-watch is likely to remain in place on the residential road for 'some time'.
