Political tensions are high in Jerusalem ahead of a preliminarily vote on Wednesday over a bill to dissolve the Knesset. Senior members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's governing coalition struggled Monday to assess whether the prime minister and the ultra-Orthodox parties, Shas and United Torah Judaism, can bridge their differences over the military conscription law so that these parties do not vote to dissolve parliament.
