Fire and Rescue teams were able to contain the flames just as they were nearing residential buildings in Western Jerusalem

A wildfire broke out Monday in the Carmit Forest and the Ein Kerem neighborhood of Jerusalem, prompting a large-scale emergency response. According to Fire and Rescue Services, dozens of firefighting teams, backed by aerial support, were able to contain the fire and protect the first line of houses.
