Mild tension prevailed in the Rambagh area of Attapur on Sunday (June 8, 2025) night after a group of individuals intercepted a vehicle transporting cattle and damaged it. The incident triggered a gathering of around 250 people from both communities, who reportedly raised religious slogans at the scene. A protest was staged there.
According to Bahadurpura police, the group smashed the windshield of the goods carrier. “A crowd from the Bahadurpura area moving towards Rambagh to join the protest was stopped with barricades to prevent further escalation,” a police official said.
