Police have arrested a man, 52, in relation to the incident which took place in Folkestone, Kent at around 12.40pm on Friday.
The alleged victim said she was approached by a man in the park, who then threatened her with a weapon and raped her.
She sustained a facial injury and officers soon started an investigation.
