A female knife attacker has reportedly injured two people in Munich's famed Oktoberfest square before she was shot by police.
The 30-year-old perpetrator is said to have first stabbed a 56-year-old man in the German city's Westendstrasse.
She then went on to attack a 25-year-old woman on Schwanthalerhöhe are of the Bavarian city.
The woman was shot by police near Theresienweise, where Munich's world-renowned Oktoberfest takes place, at around 8pm (CEST).
Emergency surgery was performed on the woman following the incident, but police have confirmed that she has since died from her injuries.
