Source says man accused of assaulting girl, who was 13 years old at the time, inside church in Sham Shui Po

Hong Kong police have arrested a 66-year-old retired priest on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor on two occasions more than 30 years ago, the Post has learned.

A source said on Saturday that a woman, now 44, filed a police report late last month alleging she had been sexually assaulted twice at a church in Sham Shui Po between September 1993 and March 1994. She was 13 years old at the time.

The man was accused of sexually assaulting the minor while she was studying inside the church.

The source said the assaults were alleged to have taken place at the Hong Kong & Macau Lutheran Living Stone Church. Management had assisted police with their investigation and helped look into whether there were other potential victims, the insider said.
