The White House asked Congress Tuesday to claw back $1.1 billion in funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, as NPR and PBS—which receive federal funding via the CPB—have already sued to block Trump from a previous attempt to prevent the media organizations from receiving the public dollars.
