A woman in her 60s has died after a Range Rover ploughed into her mobility scooter.
Police have arrested a woman, 22, following the fatal crash which took place in a village near Northampton on Saturday.
The force revealed that the victim died at the scene after the grey Range Rover Evoque, travelling in the opposite direction to her, smashed into her scooter.
Flowers have been laid on the roadside in tribute to the woman who died, with handwritten messages describing her as a 'daughter, sister and aunt' and adding: 'In God’s safe hands. Love, family.'
