Golfer Bryson DeChambeau was filmed practicing on the White House lawn before he defends his U.S. Open title later this month.
In now-viral video shared Monday by Trump communications adviser Margo Martin, DeChambeau hit an apparent wedge shot just a few feet short of the hole.
The two-time major champ, who’s ranked 10th in the world, was “throwing darts on the South Lawn of the White House,” Martin wrote.
Clapping is heard, but it’s unclear if it was coming from President Donald Trump, who appeared Sunday with DeChambeau at Trump National Golf Club in D.C.
While DeChambeau showed off his short game at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., he’s better known for his drives. He boasts multiple efforts of 400 yards or more off the tee.
