A California man faces multiple felony charges after authorities say he fired shots at a vehicle being driven by three teen boys who had just egged his house.
Craig Miceli, 54, was arrested Sunday after he allegedly fired on an SUV carrying the three high school boys, two of whom are 16 and one who is 17.
Miceli allegedly told police that the teens had spilled oil over his front porch on Friday, then came back early Sunday morning to throw eggs.
Miceli “talked about how his daughter had been the victim of constant bullying at the high school and how angry he was having to spend time cleaning oil off the porch,” the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
After throwing eggs at the house, the three teens fled in an SUV. Miceli allegedly told police he was aiming at the tires of the vehicle when he fired two shots from his handgun. One of the shots struck the panel above the wheel on the front passenger side, according to police.
