Charlamagne tha God says President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s growing rift could lead to the “end of civilization as we know it.”
“I’ve been watching those exchanges, you know, and it’s like those two egos could be the end of civilization as we know it,” the radio host said on Tuesday’s episode of ”The Breakfast Club.”
Trump has recently trashed Putin multiple times, including when he called out the Russian leader as “absolutely crazy” in a May 25 post on his Truth Social platform after Putin ordered missile attacks on Ukrainian cities. Trump also criticized Putin for “needlessly killing a lot of people” following the strikes.
In a separate post on Tuesday, Trump warned Putin that he’s “playing with fire” while claiming that “lots of really bad things” would have happened to Russia without his support.
Russia called Trump’s response to the aerial assault on Ukraine ”emotional overload.”
