A father has recalled the horrifying moment he thought he 'lost everything' after his son's buggy was dragged 15ft by a car as it ploughed through a busy Liverpool street.
Daniel Eveson, from Telford, Shropshire, was one of tens of thousands of football fans who had gathered in the city on Bank Holiday Monday to celebrate Liverpool winning the Premier League title.
But what started off as the 'perfect' afternoon for Daniel, celebrating the club's 20th league title with his family, soon became 'worst day of his life'.
The jubilant atmosphere descended into chaos when a driver drove into the crowds in Water Street just after 6pm - minutes after the Liverpool open-top bus parade passed through the city centre.
Merseyside Police has arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving offences and driving under the influence of drugs.
