Pheobe Bishop's distraught mother has hit back at internet trolls as the search for her missing daughter approaches a troubling milestone.

The 17-year-old was last seen almost two weeks ago on May 15 leaving a rundown home in Gin Gin, Bundaberg, where she had been living with couple Tanika Bromley and James Wood.

Queensland Police say the pair told detectives they drove Pheobe to Bundaberg Airport for an 8.30am flight to Brisbane and then on to Perth, where she planned to meet up with her boyfriend.

On Tuesday, the teen's mother Kylie Johnson shared an emotional message to Facebook in which she said she was 'finding it hard to get out of bed'.

'To find the strength to put one foot in front of the other and know what to do, what to think or what to say,' she continued.
