Danica Patrick said her relationship with Aaron Rodgers was “emotionally abusive” and that he “leaves a trail of blood.”
On Wednesday’s episode of “The Sage Steele Show,” Steele asked the former professional race car driver about the most painful thing she had experienced. Patrick, who dated Rodgers from 2018 to 2020, said her breakup with the professional football player in 2020 was the most pain she had experienced because it was “sudden” and it was her whole life.
“The nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing,” Patrick said. ”... Everything was torn to bits. He leaves a trail of blood. I don’t think I’m saying too much earth-shattering stuff. There’s been enough out there.”
She said it gave her the “greatest gift,” however.
“It gave me the greatest gift of how much I needed to show up for myself,” Patrick said, “and take care of myself.”
