Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows you’re dead, to borrow slightly from the “Cheers” theme song.
But apparently that wouldn’t be Fox News.
Host Jimmy Kimmel this week alleged that “Fox & Friends” sent an email to representatives of the late “Cheers” star Kirstie Alley requesting an interview with her to discuss castmate George Wendt’s death this week ― and Kimmel showed the apparent proof. (Watch the video below.)
“This is an exclusive,“ Kimmel said Wednesday. ”This is an e-mail I obtained from a source. ... This was sent from a talent booker at ‘Fox & Friends’ yesterday to the people who represented Kirstie Alley.”
“The names have been blurred to protect the stupid,” the host added before reading the request.
